Kiyomizu-dera Temple

Over 1200 years have passed since the foundation of Kiyomizu-dera Temple which is a Buddhist temple.
The temple is part of the Historic Monuments of Ancient Kyoto (Kyoto, Uji and Otsu Cities) UNESCO World Heritage site.

Take the Kyoto City bus routes 100/206 and get to Gojozaka about 30 minutes.

Sanjusangendo Temple

It is a Tendai school of Buddhism temple.
The temple name literally means Hall with thirty three spaces between columns, describing the architecture of the long main hall of the temple.

Take the Kyoto City bus routes 100/206 and get to Museum, Sanjusangendo Mae about 15 minutes

Kinkakuji Temple

It officially named Rokuon-ji is a Zen Buddhist temple.
It is designated as a National Special Historic Site and a National Special Landscape, and it is one of 17 locations making up the Historic Monuments of Ancient Kyoto which are World Heritage Sites.

Take the Kyoto City bus routes Nijojo and Kinkakuji Temple Express and get to Kinkakuji-michi (Kinkakuji Temple) about 40 minutes.

Arashiyama

It refers to the mountain across the Oi River, which forms a backdrop to the district. Arashiyama is a nationally designated Historic Site and Place of Scenic Beauty.
The “Moon Crossing Bridge” (Togetsukyo), notable for its views of cherry blossoms and autumn colors on the slopes of Arashiyama.

From JR San-in main line Kyoto station to Saga Arashiyama station about 30 minutes.

Fushimiinari

Inari shrines are the most familiar Shinto shrines to the Japanese people.
There are said to be some thirty thousand throughout the country, frequented by people of all ages.
Fushimi Inari Taisha is the head shrine with which all the others are affiliated.

Ryuanji Temple

This dry landscape garden is world-famous as the “Rock Garden of Ryoan-ji Temple.” The 15 garden stones are arranged in such a way that you can never see them all at once. Why not immerse yourself in the world of wabi-sabi while relaxing in the garden?

This temple is a World Heritage Site and is featured on Japan’s 10 yen coin and 10,000 yen bill. A golden phoenix shines on the roof of the Phoenix Hall, which has been restored to its original appearance through renovation work.

Daitokuji Temple

The sub-temple of Daitoku-ji Temple has a stone-paved approach surrounded by numerous bamboo groves and a beautiful moss garden within the premises. The autumn leaves are beautiful, and it is a famous garden that can be enjoyed throughout the year.
